M.O.

This site is a bi-product of the sheer genius of a secret think tank known only as the “darqpress.” We prefer to call our mission statement our “M.O.” It stands for modus operandi, a Latin term most frequently used in reference to a murderer’s favorite way to kill, but the term is defined as “mode of operations” and could as easily refer to the way in which one lives. So, simply put: “start living or we’ll kill you!!!”

            Our mission is simple. There is a conspiracy afoot and this is no theory. We are bent on world domination. We will slay you with our rapier wit and transfix you with our brilliant journalism and bedazzle you with the splendidness of our creativity until all are mindless, drooling slaves to the darqpress (cue scary laughter). That is all.

            darqpress.com is selfishly dedicated to the likes and interests of its creators and staff. Our fondest hope, however, is that you will find yourself somewhere amid the myriad of our absurd curiosities and come to love us as much as we do – only then will you know true happiness.
